TGIF Keen & Green Celeb: Cameron Diaz

This week's green celebrity is Cameron Diaz.   

Back in 2005, the There's Something About Mary star even hosted an MTV show called Trippin where fellow celebrities would travel to places in ecological jeopardy.   She's been an environmental activist for quite a few years and was an early adopter of the Toyota Prius.

Cameron has shot many PSAs, went around asking experts questions about the environment, and has worked with Al Gore.

When TIME Magazine did their Heroes of the Environment piece for 2009, Diaz got the #2 spot on their list of Leaders and Visionaries, behind Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed and ahead of wildlife-documentary movie-maker, Mike H. Pandey.  

And the lucky lady got to star with none other than Sesame Street's GROVER to spread the word about the importance of trees!  

Oh, and to conserve water, Cameron Diaz has proudly admitted that she abides by the old "if it’s yellow let it mellow" adage.
