Other programs
In addition to the Business Environmental Awards (BEA), Acterra has several programs:
1. Be the Change - Training of emerging leaders in the skills needed to take environmental action at work, home, worship, and leisure.
2. Climate Heroes - Recognizes individuals or groups of people who have made a 'green'impact within their community.
3. Green@Home - Helps residents to take action to reduce global warming by making their homes more energy efficient.
4. Stewardship Program - Provides opportunities for individuals and groups to learn about ecology, have fun, and participate in restoration work. The program currently restores sites at Pearson-Arastradero Preserve, along the San Francisquito watershed, and at schools and parks on the peninsula.
5. Fiduciary Programs - Provides fiscal sponsorship for a number of diverse and exciting programs.
